I'm disappointed with Neighbor.com customer service - when I contacted them that I have a bad experience with their host - Neighbor rep was not helpful.
I was forced to remove my travel trailer early because their host was unprofessional jerk - he became hostile as soon as I was charged for the full month, my trailer was removed days later but no partial credit or refund was given as I understood (from Neighbor management) will be the case.
Do no use those ppl. They are a scam, im a host, the renter has no paid for 3 months and neighbord is no doing anything. They claim i can tow rhe camper into 4 months goes buy without payment of the renter. Dont do bussiness with this scam
I attempted to rent a garage, and completed the required application and payment information. The 'host' did get back to me after a day's delay. 'Elizabeth' indicated she was unable to accept the payment via the Neighbors payment portal 'due to an issue with her bank'. I asked her to phone me so we could arrange viewing the garage and payment options. No call. And no return to my calls to her. Elizabeth did text several times explaining she had some problems and to try to work with her to make payment. Again, no return calls to my requests and phone messages. Only short texts. I shared this experience several times with Neighbors- alerting them to these issues. No action taken by Neighbors; the listing remains several weeks after my initial experience. I advise users to use caution when dealing with so-called hosts on the site.
Neighbor sucks when it comes to customer service i- s impossible to reach out to anyone and when you have a issue they're telling you it's three days for customer service to get back to you. It's ridiculous. They charging us both PARTIES - the landlord and tenant fees and yet you cannot have customer service I will no longer provide service with neighbor the best place to go is SPACER. They are prompt they get back to you right away and they return your call.
You will be sent a barrage of texts and emails and calls if you don't respond to reservations immediately.
This is even true if you already have a guest in the parking stall through neighbor.
They will also take away payouts after reservation based on renters comments and reviews. Do not recommend.
I held off writing reviews, because i dont like leaving bad feedback. But Neighbor.com doesnt protect renters, and apparently likes hosts cheating people.
I rented a parking space, under specific terms.
The owner has now ghosted me and will not return my money.
Neighbor.com wont do a single thing to help me recover my funds, and i am poor. I recommend finding other methods of renting, because if there's no protection, there's NO REASON TO USE THE SITE

My name is Kathy. I left my camper in the care of a lady named Marty. She was the sweetest person I have met in a long time. Trying to unhook my trailer from my truck it didn't want to happen but finally did. Then trying to hook it back on my truck well that wasn't going to happen either. But Marty was right there doing most of it herself since I'm Disabled. She gave it everything she had and did it. She never complained and always gave it a smile and a laugh.

Terrible experience. After using Neighbor many times for parking, there was an incident where my car was towed while using the app. Neighbor refuses to compensate me for the towing fee.
I paid Neighbor for a service - the long term storage of my vehicle, via one of their hosts. I, as the customer, I did not meet the host and had minimal communication with them. As the customer, the difference between Neighbor as the business, and the "host", do not really matter to me. I am unaware of how Neighbor is set up as a business, and it should not be my responsibility to research their "hosts". This is what I paid them to do. Directly from their website: "As long as you stay with Neighbor, you're protected". This is fraudulent advertising. When my car was towed during the time that it was staying with "Neighbor", I did not feel protected. In fact, rather than making this issue right, Neighbor has been fighting. In the grand scheme of things it would be a small cost to fix their mistake, and instead they have turned off a loyal customer from ever using or recommending their services again. I can't imagine why someone would feel comfortable renting a storage space for their vehicle with Neighbor, when there is a chance that the vehicle will be towed during its stay, and that the customer would be on the hook for the towing charges. I paid Neighbor for a service which was not rendered. Due to this they refunded me $33, and refuse to help with the $425 towing fee I incurred while they were storing my vehicle for me. This is unacceptable.
My host Robert Ward forced me to give him keys and used my card for several months. Added 2000 miles on it and unlimited toll tickets. He blocked me. And app will not take any responsibility. Ronald is still host on Neighbor.com even after i filed a complaint. There are other hosts like Robert, actively scamming people. Robert is verified host and told app that he never drive vehicle even though he had they keys. App took his side. But i am sure court will make right decision.
Stay away from this awful app. You and your belongings are not safe.
